About the position
Position: Foreman: Electrical Engineer
Area: Mpumalanga
Job Summary:
Experienced Foreman with electrical engineering background in leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operational departments. Proven ability in planning and executing maintenance strategies, resolving complex equipment breakdowns, conducting fault finding and repairs, and driving continuous improvement with MV (medium voltage) switching and equipment experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support achievement of the operational plan.
- Participate in the management of the specific maintenance plan for the relevant discipline/section.
- Ensure plant/process is fully operational.
- Ensure electrical supply integrity to the organisation.
- Project management
- Adherence and compliance to all HSEQ legislation, policy & procedures for his/her section/team.
- Supervising the team.
- Adhere to section cost control measures.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
Minimum job requirements:
- N5 & Relevant Trade Certificate (electrical)
- VSD (Variable Speed Drive) programming.
- MV (medium voltage) switching and equipment.
- Wireman's licence (Master Electrician)
- 5 Years relevant working experience.
- Code 08 Drivers License.
- Mining or Manufacturing heavy industrial industry background
