You're a qualified Electrical Engineer with solid experience in industrial-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. You bring technical depth, sound judgement and a practical mindset to complex environments. Confident and mature, you communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans and enjoy collaborating with high-performance teams. You're solutions-driven, hands-on when needed, and comfortable taking ownership in dynamic project settings.
You'll play a key role in the design, technical oversight and execution of industrial solar PV and battery energy storage projects. From technical evaluations and system design input to coordinating project activities and ensuring compliance with electrical standards, you'll be closely involved throughout the project lifecycle. You'll support commissioning processes, engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, and help deliver technically sound, high-performing renewable energy systems that power commercial and industrial clients.
Our client is a specialist renewable energy developer delivering large-scale solar and battery storage solutions to the commercial and industrial sector. Known for their technically robust systems and strong project pipeline, they operate with agility and professionalism, fostering a results-driven culture focused on quality and long-term impact within South Africa's evolving energy landscape.
A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (Pr.Eng not required), with solid experience in industrial-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. Strong technical design and project exposure is essential, along with the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans. You must be Gauteng-based and comfortable operating in dynamic project environments.
