Electrical Engineer (Maritime & Offshore) (Netherlands)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

Are you an Electrical Engineer with a keen interest in The Netherlands, then this is the opportunity for you!!!

PERFORM drawing and engineering work for electrical installations from a functional set-up as your technical expertise as an Electrical Engineer for both Maritime & Offshore is sought by a dynamic Project Management company in the Yacht Building industry in the Netherlands. You will also conduct the technical preparation of projects, determining working budgets while providing support for the project aftercare. The successful incumbent will have a HBO working and thinking level in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Engineering) or equivalent with 5 years work experience in a similar/Engineering position. You must be proficient with AutoCAD and EPLAN, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access – VBA / [URL Removed] and have a good command of Dutch – both verbal and written.

DUTIES:

• Perform drawing and engineering work on electrical installations from a functional set-up.
• Technical preparation of projects, documenting them, and preparing them for implementation.
• Support the making of calculations and determining working budgets.
• Provide support for project aftercare.
• Report directly to the Project Leader or Project Manager.

The Electrical Engineering services for the shipbuilding industry include:

• Advice, System Engineering, and Design
• Delivery of customer-specific and/or standard systems
• Panel Construction
• Installation work
• Commissioning
• Service and Maintenance

REQUIREMENTS:

• HBO working and thinking level in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Engineering) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar or Engineering position.
• Experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN, and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Affinity with programming in Excel and Access (VBA / VB.Net).
• Good command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proactive working method and analytical skills.

Advantageous -

• Knowledge of Project Management methods.
