About the position
Applicants must have the following requirements: Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or a Bachelor of Technology Degree or a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering. If you don't hear back from us within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist.
Must have 10-12 years of experience in Electrical Building Services and Rural Electrification design.
Must have knowledge of electrical design requirements and practices through the various project execution phases.
Must be proficient in Revit, Dilux and AutoCAD software.
Must have knowledge of Integrated or Analysis Design Tools like ETAPSmartPlant, Rectimaster, Bentley Microstation, Digisilent or DesSoft and Power Office Proficient.
Must have experience on green & brown field projects and projects requiring integration with existing systems.
Must have tender experience with creating tender documents, presentation at bid specification committees and providing tender evaluation reports.
Must have experience in managing GCC and JBCC contracts and dealing with claims.
Must have a valid Code B (08) driver's license and be willing to relocate to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
SALARY R800 000 - R 900 000 P/A
