You're a hands-on compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. You bring strong leadership capability, a sharp eye for detail, and a practical approach to interpreting regulation. You're confident engaging stakeholders, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about building a strong compliance culture.
You'll lead the day-to-day execution of compliance activities across the business, ensuring adherence to key regulatory frameworks including FAIS, FICA, CISCA and related legislation. From overseeing AML and CFT processes to driving compliance monitoring plans, you'll identify risks, close gaps, and implement effective controls. You'll oversee and develop a team, guide stakeholders with practical advice, and contribute to policy development, reporting, and governance. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions while embedding compliance into operations in a meaningful way.

You'll hold a relevant tertiary degree in Law, Compliance, Risk or Finance, with at least 5 years' experience in financial services doing compliance. Strong working knowledge of FAIS, FICA, CISCA and related regulations is essential, along with proven experience in AML implementation. Leadership experience and the ability to translate regulation into practical business processes are key, with experience as a MLCO advantageous.
