E-commerce Manager
Job Overview:
The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the online sales and digital presence of the company within the food industry. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase online sales, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth operations across various e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to boost online sales across platforms such as Amazon, takealot, and the company's own website
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and digital technologies to keep the company competitive.
Product Management:- Optimize product listings with accurate and compelling content, visuals, and pricing
- Ensure timely and efficient product delivery by coordinating with vendors and supply chain teams
Marketing and Promotions:- Manage online promotions and campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement digital marketing strategies
Performance Analysis:- Monitor and analyse e-commerce performance using tools like Google Analytics
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
Customer Experience:- Ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers by managing the website and responding to customer queries promptly
- Work with customer service teams to address and resolve any issues.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the FMCG/Food sector
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of online retail platforms, digital marketing, and sales analytics.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Amazon or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
