The Role: E-Commerce Manager
The E-Commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the company's online strategy, overseeing website performance, and ensuring seamless customer journeys. The position focuses on driving online sales, improving conversion rates, and working across digital marketing, product management, and customer retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute e-commerce strategies to grow online sales and market share
- Identify and implement new digital opportunities, trends, and technologies
- Manage daily website operations, ensuring performance, functionality, and user experience
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance UX/UI and resolve issues
- Work with SEO specialists to optimize organic search visibility
- Coordinate with the Marketing Director and Digital Marketing Manager on campaigns (PPC, social media, email, etc.)
- Monitor conversion rates through A/B testing and analytics
- Manage product listings, promotions, and seasonal updates
- Create and send newsletters, and grow the email database with targeted campaigns
- Analyse data using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and similar tools to track KPIs
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights for improvements
- Enhance online customer journey, navigation, and checkout processes
- Support customer service with online-related queries
- Develop loyalty and retention programs to boost repeat business
About You
- Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.)
- Skilled in digital marketing strategies including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and affiliate marketing
- Experience with A/B testing, personalisation, and CRM tools
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization
- Track record of managing revenue targets and budgets successfully
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with WooCommerce/Shopify (multi-platform experience advantageous)
