Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in e-commerce copywriting.
  • Proven experience writing for homeware or furniture products (highly desirable).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
  • Digital marketing qualification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write clear, persuasive, and engaging product descriptions for new and existing products.
  • Manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all pages.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to maintain brand alignment.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to incorporate best practices.
  • Create copy for marketing collateral, including newsletters, social media posts, Google ads, and web banners.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure proper categorization and allocation of products for optimal site navigation.
