E-commerce & Retail Operations Assistant!

Our client is seeking a highly organised, tech-savvy multitasker to join their dynamic team.
This versatile role is split 50% Retail Operations & Admin and 50% E-commerce & Digital Marketing, offering the best of both worlds.
You’ll play a key role in managing online stores, coordinating stock and deliveries, and ensuring both the e-commerce platform and retail floor are running seamlessly.

Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in an administrative, e-commerce and Retail Operations role.
- Sport-loving and active lifestyle.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
- Strong computer literacy, with confidence using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce & Digital Marketing (Approx. 50% of role).
- Website Administration: Create, update, and manage product listings on our e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce), ensuring all product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory are accurate and compelling.
- Order Management: Oversee the entire online order lifecycle, from processing and fulfillment to coordinating shipping and handling customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
- UI/UX Maintenance: Assist with minor website updates and user experience improvements to enhance the customer journey. Liaise with web developers for more complex technical issues.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist in the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including drafting and scheduling email marketing campaigns, and providing administrative support for Google Ads campaigns.
- Retail Operations & Administration (Approx. 50% of role)
- Store Oversight Support: Act as a key support figure for the physical retail store, assisting the manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Inventory Management: Manage retail stock levels, process replenishments, conduct stock takes, and assist with inventory forecasting to prevent stockouts and minimise overstock.
- Schedule Management: Develop, manage, and communicate the weekly/monthly work schedule for retail staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- HR Assistance: Provide basic HR administrative support for the retail team, such as tracking leave, assisting with the onboarding of new hires, and maintaining staff records.
