About the position
Drawing Office Certifcate would be advantageous
At least 6-8 years drafting experience, including:
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D modelling)
- Knowledge of drawing office procedures
- Basic engineering calculations
- Engineering standards and symbology used
- Practical and working experience on construction projects
Duties:
Produce drawings; electrical schematics, SLDs, block diagrams, panel designs, field equipment layouts, cable racking designs (3D model advantageous) in AutoCad (AutoCad Electrical optional)
Drawings from concept level to construction level of detail
Technical checking
Produce and understand process flow and piping and instrumentation (P&I) diagrams
Complete As-Build drawings from basic red line markup's
Contribute on design practices and technology.
Quality and accountability
Effective communication with both engineering and fellow drafting staff
Communications protocols
Uphold professional designs and standards
Quality checks on drawings
Meeting of client (internal and external) deadlines
