DRIVER / STORES & DELIVERY ASSISTANT - LIMITED DURATION CONTRACT (EE)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To safely operate and maintain the company vehicle, ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods and documentation, and provide support to the Stores and Branch operations while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety and SHEQ compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport and deliver goods, equipment and documentation to customers and branches.
• Load, secure, transport and offload goods, ensuring items are delivered correctly and without damage.
• Complete delivery notes, returns and vehicle logbooks accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects, accidents or maintenance requirements.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe and in good working condition.
• Assist with Stores duties including picking, packing, stock counts and stocktaking.
• Ensure stock is handled and recorded correctly according to bin codes and procedures.
• Liaise professionally with customers and assist with customer queries and complaints.
• Comply with customer mine-site requirements, company policies, ISO and SHEQ standards.
• Assist with general Branch operational duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric / Grade 12
• Valid Code 10 Driver's Licence
• Clean driving record
• Hiab experience is a requirement
• Previous experience with deliveries to mines in and around Rustenburg
• Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas
• Computer literate
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Customer-focused with good organisational skills

Desired Skills:

• Code10 Drivers Licence
• Hiab experience is a requirement

• 2 to 5 years
