About the position

Are you a reliable, hands-on individual with a valid driver’s license and a passion for efficiency and quality? A highly creative and innovative company is looking for a committed Driver to join their dynamic Operations team in Cape Town. This is not your average driver job – they're looking for someone who can take ownership, ensure precision in deliveries, and support their broader operations when needed.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Timely delivery of goods to local clients, ensuring professionalism at every stop.

  • Accurate completion of delivery notes, trip sheets, and proof of delivery (POD) documentation.

  • Careful loading and unloading of goods in accordance with route plans and ISO procedures.

  • Adhering to COD (Cash on Delivery) policies and ensuring safe handover of payments.

  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure delays are communicated and resolved swiftly.

  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring it’s roadworthy with daily checks.

  • Assisting with dispatch, packing, or other operational duties when needed.

What You’ll Need:

  • Valid Code 8 or 10 Driver’s License with a current Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

  • Minimum 3 years driving experience in a delivery or manufacturing environment

  • Matric or equivalent (Technical qualification advantageous)

  • Computer literate (basic MS Word/Excel, email)

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Physical strength – must be able to lift up to 36kg materials

  • Team player with a proactive, organised and detail-oriented mindset
