About the position

Exciting career opportunity for an experienced for a Draughtsman within a manufacturing company
Minimum requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Draughting
• 3 to 5 Years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial design environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of, and experience working with, Sheet Metal
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, standards, and manufacturing processes
• Industrial air-conditioning and refrigeration knowledge
• HVAC knowledge advantageous
• Reverse engineering & 3D Drawing software experience
• Solid Edge, AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the catalogue and OEM drawing databases
• Produce accurate, high-quality drawings that meet customer requirements and internal standards
• Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings based on engineering specifications
• Redraw existing AutoCAD drawings into accurate 3D models
• Ensure timely completion of design tasks according to the production schedule
• Minimise drawing revisions by ensuring accuracy on the first attempt
• Measure and interpret customer samples correctly and efficiently
• Assist senior draughtsmen in creating and compiling manufacturing drawing packs
• Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational quality systems and standards
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to support cross-functional design needs
