Draughtsman

About the position

Well-established engineering company based in the East Rand seeks a Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team!
Requirements: 

• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Mechanical draughting certificate / diploma
• Solidworks / Edgecam experience
• 3D scanning experience is a bonus
• Sheet metal experience is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• Handle all drawing administration and controls, including updates and part list management
• Reverse engineer components and interpret/generate DXF files
• Utilize measuring equipment effectively and read technical drawings
• Perform limited design work and prepare complex schematic drawings
• Create pictorial and isometric drawings for reports
• Develop models of components and generate corresponding drawings
• Engage in client liaison and follow up on projects
• Maintain drawing registers
