You're a seasoned leader in the automotive industry with a proven ability to drive growth, manage cross-functional teams, and build lasting client relationships. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You'll take full ownership of the automotive division, leading a skilled team to deliver on OEM and aftermarket sales targets. Your role will span new business development, client relationship management, strategic planning, and full accountability for divisional performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Finance, IT, Marketing and Sales to drive operational efficiency, while ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and customer requirements. Managing budgets, KPIs, pricing strategies, and administrative functions will be part of your day-to-day, along with continuous improvement of business systems and customer satisfaction.

What you'll need

You'll bring at least 15 years of experience in the automotive sector (OEM or Tier-1 supplier), including 5+ years in senior leadership. A relevant degree (NQF Level 7) in Engineering or Sales & Marketing is required, along with recognised automotive industry certifications (such as IATF). You'll also need a solid foundation in project and sales management, customer negotiations, business systems, and compliance. Strong people management, time management, and commercial awareness are essential.
