DISTRIBUTION TEAM LEADER
Overview: Supervise the Distribution department to ensure that the delivery of finished goods to Local and Export Customers, Branches, and Agents are executed on time and in full. Oversee all distribution functions and workflows to ensure they are performed accurately, efficiently, and timeously in alignment with business and customer requirements.
Duties:
Route Administration and Proof of Distribution
Cost efficient and Budget compliance
Fleet Maintenance, Control and Compliance
3rd Party delivery compliance and record keeping
3rd Party equipment management
On Time and In Full delivery compliance
Oversee loading and delivery compliance
Route planning and timeous delivery
Ensure load and paperwork accuracy
Distribution stock control and accuracy
Warehousing stock control and accuracy
Staff management and control
Admin and reporting
Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant logistics and /or supply chain tertiary qualification advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing distribution and logistics experience
Good knowledge of warehousing, distribution and stock management
Ability to use route planning, courier, and fleet systems effectively.
Proficient in compiling operational reports and analysing discrepancies.
Remuneration:
R30000 (Negotiable) plus benefits
