Distribution Supervisor

R30 000 p/m (neg, plus medical aid & pension)
Purpose of the position: Lead a high-performing distribution team and drive OTIF deliveries in a fast-paced logistics & manufacturing environment. We are seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to oversee the delivery of finished goods to local and export customers, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance. The role covers fleet management, route planning, cost control, compliance, reporting, and staff supervision to support business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily distribution operations and ensure OTIF deliveries.
• Manage fleet maintenance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize routes, truck capacity, and fuel consumption.
• Maintain POD accuracy, waybill control, and courier systems.
• Lead and develop staff; provide cover for Distribution Manager.
• Ensure stock accuracy, dispatch compliance, and support audits.
• Prepare and submit operational and performance reports.

Requirements:

• Matric (Logistics/Supply Chain qualification an advantage).
• 3-6 years' experience in logistics/distribution, preferably in manufacturing or a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, dispatch, and transport processes.
• Skilled in fleet and route planning systems, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
