Distribution Controller at Famous Brands

About the position

Execution of distribution related activities to drive customer service and efficiencies and to maximise distribution resources and drive safety standards.

• Manage productivity and Customer Service measures
• Manage fuel costs
• Support fleet maintenance program on site and ensure that the fleet standards are maintained at the highest standards
• Responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of all equipment and vehicles
• Ensure that all vehicles are inspected daily via the Drivers and any defects to be reported to the Fleet Controller for action
• Ensure route master updates are done at all times to cater for store changes
• Ensure Customer Service levels are achieved and productivity is driven
• Execute distribution plan as per PLATO using Trackmatic
• Address delivery complaints
• Management of HR related matters
• Drive Owner Driver efficiencies
• Manage the on time reporting on KPI's and monthly reports consolidation for Secondary and Owner driver
• Strictly enforce health and safety standards, and Road Traffic Act

Desired Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years Distribution / Courier Service

Desired Qualification Level:

• Grade 12 / Matric
