About the position

Distribution Assistant
Location: Pinetown, Durban
Salary: R12,000 p/m + benefits

Join our Durban branch as a Distribution Assistant, responsible for verifying goods at dispatch, overseeing loading, and managing delivery bookings.

Key Duties:

• Validate goods against picking slips and update registers
• Supervise loading and ensure correct stock & batch numbers
• Handle delivery bookings and dispatch documentation
• Debrief drivers and check PODs
• Assist with invoicing and stock counts
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Support warehouse operations as needed

Requirements:

• Matric
• 2-4 years' experience in distribution/warehouse admin
• Basic math and computer skills (MS Office)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures

Desired Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years

Desired Qualification Level:

• Grade 12 / Matric
