Our Client is looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join their team

Job Summary
The Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all outbound shipments, supervising dispatch staff, and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily dispatch of goods to customers
- Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule
- Monitor vehicle loading, route planning, and driver schedules
- Maintain communication with transport providers and internal departments
- Oversee dispatch documentation and compliance with safety regulations
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures related to dispatch
- Identify and resolve delays or operational issues promptly
- Train, guide, and evaluate dispatch team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dispatch area
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dispatch, logistics, or warehouse supervisory role (preferably in manufacturing or packaging)
- Strong understanding of logistics, routing, and inventory systems
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in dispatch and warehouse software (e.g., SAP, WMS, Excel)
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to dispatch and transport
- Forklift license (advantageous)
