About the position

Responsibile and accountable for the implementation of the scheme's direct sales strategies that will positionthe company as a serious competitor in the DPM market in LSM 6 and higher members. This through the accreditation of the scheme as a fully licensed FSP, that can compare benefit options in the healthcare market. Integrate the digital and affinity distribution channels as a member growth delivery structure of the companys activities with particular emphasis on the achievement of synergies around retail sales implementation as well as continuous improvement of own disciplines within the scheme and service quality through retention strategies

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Successfully manage the sales team to meet growth objectives and hit sales targets
  • Craft and implement a strategic business plan that expands our customer base
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting customer relationships- Understand customer needs and tailor sales efforts accordingly
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and stay informed about new products and competition
  • Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and monitor performance
  • Establish methods and organisational systems for accomplishing major new directives
  • Effective two-way communication practised within New Business Development unit and relevant Stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships to drive net sales revenue
  • Assist in publicity efforts, events, launches and promotion campaigns in the direct sales space
  • Provide a communication platform to all channels
  • Contribute to Annual Operational Plan
  • Defined contribution to project measures for success

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years in a Senior Sales and Marketing managerial role
  • 2 years in MEDICAL AID INDUSTRY - ESSENTIAL

QUALIFICATIONS

  • FSCA Qualification
  • NQF Level 5 FAIS Accredited
  • Class of Business - Health benefits
  • RE5 and RE1
  • FAIS Fit and Proper

Desired Skills:

  • DIRECT SALES EXPERIENCE WITHIN A CALL CENTRE ENVIRONMENT
  • MEDICAL SCHEME EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTAIL
  • RE5 AND RE1 IS ESSENTIAL
