About the position
We're looking for strong Digital Strategists to lead performance marketing strategies across CRM, content, paid media, and automation. Bring the thinking that connects digital activity to real business outcomes.
As a Digital Strategist at The Agency, you'll shape and drive digital strategies that power our clients' growth. You'll work across CRM, paid media, content, SEO, lead nurturing, and web. Your role is both analytical and creative-digging into performance data, refining audience targeting, and recommending content, media, or CRM tweaks that move the needle.
You'll work closely with Digital Marketers, Account Managers, HubSpot Specialists, and Developers to turn strategy into action. This is a mid-level to senior role for someone confident leading campaign planning, mapping journeys, and improving conversion pipelines.
Responsibilities & duties
- Develop digital marketing strategies that connect content, media, and CRM with business goals
- Lead campaign planning across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, email, and web
- Collaborate on messaging, targeting, and funnel architecture for lead generation and nurturing
- Interpret performance data and recommend pivots, new tactics, or creative ideas
- Build strategies that integrate with HubSpot workflows, CRM data, and automation
- Write briefs for content, media, and creative teams based on customer insights and research
- Lead strategy calls and present reports, recommendations, and roadmaps to clients
- Support junior digital marketers and contribute to strategic documentation and processes
- Stay current on trends in SEO, paid media, AI tools, and CRM marketing
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5+ years in a digital marketing or strategy role
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing (search, paid social, email, content)
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub, or similar marketing automation platforms
- Strong analytical skills-comfortable with campaign data, attribution, and funnel metrics
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on tactical experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (client-facing experience preferred)
- Familiarity with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Looker Studio, GA4
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking and how to implement with GTM, Meta and Google Ads.
- Able to brief and collaborate with creatives, developers, and Account Managers
- Bonus: Advanced HubSpot certifications, and experience in B2B and/or tech sectors
