About the position
Our client based in Germiston, is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to join their team. This will be a 12-Month contract. Requires the assistance of an inexperienced/ partially experienced digital marketing part time student or college/ university Marketing graduate.
The intern would need to assist / complete the below tasks as part of their function, training will be offered for on hand experience to be gained:
- Social media – Digital monthly reports, occasional site/ distributor visits, community management, content generation (all existing platforms) and a complete focus on Tik Tok & YouTube
- Website - Complete SEO audits, website audits and website updates
- Administration – Updating of our SharePoint platform on a weekly basis, submitting of requests and monitoring of requests to Procurement, monitoring of marketing ongoing projects
- Training Centre & Internal Events – Coordination of events
- Support Marketing team where needed
The Digital Marketing Intern must:
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner in front of clients
- Be well organised
- Have their own social media platforms and a firm understanding of content generation and monitoring – as well as reporting
- A firm understanding of how to conduct a thorough website audit & willingness to learn a new website platform
- Excellent communication skills
- People person
- Open to new challenges & eager to learn and immerse themselves in a new experience
- Have their own vehicle
- This is strictly an office-based role – no hybrid or work from home option
Our client typically typically requires the following artwork to be created, but not limited to:
- Packaging – Bags, Alupacks and labels
- Brochures and Documents – both editing existing and new development
- Signage and branding
- Digital Content
- Advertisements
- Instore branding and displays
- PowerPoint presentations
- Digital display layouts
Education & Experience:
- Marketing part time student, marketing degree/ diploma graduate
- Certificates in digital marketing is advantageous
- No experience necessary, it is a bonus, but we are looking for a winning attitude
Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contract.
