About the position
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Digital Commerce Control Hub – Order Fulfilment Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating online orders, ensuring efficient order processing and fulfilment, and assisting with the smooth running of daily e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming online orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Track orders throughout the fulfilment process, from placement to dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouses, stores and courier services to ensure orders are fulfilled within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor stock availability and follow up on discrepancies or stock-related queries.
- Investigate and resolve order delays, cancellations, missing items and fulfilment issues.
- Maintain accurate order records and update relevant systems.
- Communicate with internal departments and relevant stakeholders regarding outstanding orders.
- Monitor order fulfilment performance and report on operational challenges.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency throughout the order fulfilment process.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Previous experience in order processing, administration, logistics, stock control or e-commerce will be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy and experience working with digital systems.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring that online orders are processed efficiently. Strong coordination skills and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues are essential.
