we are looking for a Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic/ Supervisor to lead our workshop and keep our fleet running at peak performance.

Location: DURBAN SOUTH

What we are looking for:

• minimum 5 years Diesel Mechanic Experience

• strong expertise in Diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics & heavy duty vehicles.

• Knowledge of MAN TGA / MAN TGS / MERC AXOR / Drawbar Trailers

• Experience working with waste trucks, equipment & trailers

• Code 14 licence with valid PrDP

• excellent fault finding and problem solving skills

• traceable references and clear criminal record 

your role will include but is not be limited to:

• leading and managing daily workshop operations

• supervising mechanics and ensuring productivity

• diagnosing, repairing and maintaining fleet vehicles

• ensuring minimal down time & maximum efficiency

• enforcing safety standards and workshop discipline

• managing job cards, reports and parts control
