Location: Free State & North West

Position Overview
The role is responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of tractors, harvesters, and related agricultural implements, both in the workshop and in the field. The incumbent must consistently meet performance targets and provide a high standard of customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction levels
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution on customer equipment
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers when required
• Compile accurate cost estimates and quotations for maintenance and repair work
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Complete all required administrative documentation, including:
  • Warranty submissions
  • Job cards
  • Timesheets
  • Service logbooks
  
  


• Support operational efficiency and productivity within the workshop

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Diesel or Tractor Mechanic (Red Seal Non-negotiable)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Availability to work extended or irregular hours during peak periods
• Solid working knowledge of electronic control systems on modern harvesters and machinery
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural and heavy equipment
• Competence in using diagnostic tools and software
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a workshop environment (agricultural experience preferred)
• Experience in leading or supervising technical staff

Preferred Experience

• Strong familiarity with the CNH product range, particularly T7, T8, and T9 models, or comparable machinery
• Exposure to PLM CONNECT or similar precision farming systems
