Diesel Mechanic

About the position

A dynamic organization based in the West Rand is looking to employ a qualified Diesel Mechanic from the Construction Equipment with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic or Petrol Mechanic or Auto Electrical Mechanic (Essential)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the construction equipment
• industry
• Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and machinery
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of construction equipment
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and technologies
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team
