Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Mining

Job Description:
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining operations team in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment used in mining operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and fluid changes
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of diesel vehicles and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs to minimize downtime
- Document all maintenance and repair work in detail for record-keeping purposes
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate
- Grade 12
- N2 / N3 Certificate
- 5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment
- Driver's License is required
