About the position

Overview
A busy specialist medical practice in Centurion is seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Dictaphone Typist. The successful candidate will be responsible for typing dictated notes, letters, and reports accurately and efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe medical dictated notes, letters, and reports using Dictaphone/audio typing.
• Ensure accuracy, correct formatting, and appropriate medical terminology (with training provided).
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive patient information.
• Meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Dictaphone/audio typing (experience from any professional environment, e.g., legal firms, is acceptable).
• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, grammar, and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to medical terminology (training and support will be provided).
• Willingness and eagerness to master Dictaphone typing in a medical practice environment.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work with confidential information.
