Development Manager

About the position

Our client in the Real Estate Industry is seeking a Development Manager. Someone with similar or necessary experience.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

• This role will ensure the effective and efficient management of the Developments department
• Business Acumen - a hunger to grow the Developments department and generation of leads and share market intelligence
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy.
• Excellent understanding of market research methods timeous identification and effectively attending to problem areas and immediate escalation to Directors where necessary
• Ensure the management of all HR related matters effective utilization of internal and all related systems by employees manage information accordingly.
• Training of all new staff on internal programs and system to ensure that the ESI way is always followed

Effective Relationship Management, Managing Client Expectations, Financial growth and meeting set targets, Managing of the Department is key to this role.

SKILLS:

• Critical to this role is excellent organizational, leadership and people management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication, collaboration, critical thinking skills
• pro-active, self-starter, motivated, flexible, and able to work without supervision, accountable, financial and project management skills
• negotiator and influencing skills
• Attention to detail; planning and organising and time management is essential.
• must be able to work under pressure
• good knowledge of Microsoft office packages and related internal and conveyancing systems and the flexibility to support the rest of the team when needed.

Qualification and Experience

• Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer
• Proven experience as a Development Manager (+/- 5 years)
