About the position
The ICT Desktop Support Engineer Intern will play a key role in delivering end-user support across our organization. Working closely with our ICT support team, you'll gain practical experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, assisting with network configurations, and supporting ongoing ICT projects designed to optimize Enel Green Power's technology infrastructure.
What you will do, key responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users remotely or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows-based desktops and laptops.
- Assist with setting up and configuring new employee workstations, including user accounts, devices, and software installations.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT knowledge base.
- Assist with inventory management of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
- Support routine IT maintenance tasks, including system updates and OS upgrades.
- Collaborate on IT projects to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency within the business
Who you are, technical-professional knowledge: - Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role (academic or professional) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common IT ticketing systems.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash) is an advantage.

Knowledge & Training: - Recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+ and N+ certification, or equivalent hardware and networking fundamentals knowledge.
