About the position

Our client, with 30 years of proven quality workmanship which focussed on the design, manufacture and installation of customised furniture and design bespoke living spaces is currently seeking a Designer who will be focussed on ensuring the accurate designing of clients cupboards to client specifications, which includes the ability to read and interpret building plans.

• The ideal candidate would need to have at least 2-5 years of experience in a similar furniture/living space environment.
• Proven experience in design using Winner/Cabinet Vision programme
• Previous experience in cupboard design would be advantageous. Knowledge of cupboard components important
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to be able to take accurate measurements on-site
• Ability to be able to work under pressure
• Computer literacy, MS office and advanced excel
• Interior design experience would be advantageous
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Team player and ability to also work independently
• Own transport and valid driver's licence
