About the position
Our client within the international defense industry is seeking a senior skilled design engineer for land systems. Candidates are required to have proven experience in military vehicle design with a portfolio of successfully completed projects and a tertiary degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
One should have a deep understanding of the defense industry, military vehicle performance standards and latest technology trends in the industry.
Requirements Include:
- Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor)
- Knowlege of military vehicle systems and subsystems (powertrain, armor, electronics)
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing processes & materials.
- Extensive Knowledge of military specifications & defense industry standards such as MIL-STD & NATO standards.
- Proven leadership experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
