Are you passionate about education and driven by results? Do you have a natural talent for leading high-performing sales teams and mentoring individuals to success? If so, we’re looking for an experienced, target-driven professional to take on the exciting role of Deputy Head: Student Recruitment.
In this pivotal position, you’ll support the Head: Student Recruitment in leading the admissions and sales function, managing key team members, and driving performance throughout the student recruitment funnel.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Sales & Admissions Leadership
- Oversee the admissions funnel and drive individual and team application, interview, and registration targets.
- Support and manage Admissions Officers (Sales), ensuring effective funnel progression and timely follow-ups.
- Guide students through the application and pre-registration process, ensuring a seamless experience.
Funnel Management & Reporting
- Monitor and track conditional admissions and registration targets, including SLP and NQP enrolments.
- Compile accurate weekly reports for national submission deadlines.
- Analyse data and use insights to steer team strategy and activity.
Training & Development
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing training of sales staff and admissions officers on product knowledge, sales scripts, systems, and processes.
- Mentor and coach team members, creating a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement & Team Support
- Liaise professionally with schools, internal teams, and senior management.
- Maintain positive, collaborative working relationships and uphold high standards of communication and compliance.
- Act as the stand-in for the Head: Student Recruitment when required.
What We’re Looking For
? Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, ideally within a customer-focused or education environment.
- National Diploma (NQF6) or higher qualification preferred.
- Previous team leadership or coaching experience strongly advantageous.
