Delivery Lead - Senior Full stack developer

Role Overview
The Delivery Lead - Senior Java Full Stack Developer will lead the technical execution and delivery of Java-based full-stack solutions. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership, collaboration, and responsibility for successful phased delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development
- Lead the technical execution of software engineering solutions in alignment with business requirements and engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering resources.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and/or Angular, and SQL.
- Promote and maintain best practices across coding, testing, and deployment.
- Keep up to date with relevant AI innovations and applicable engineering practices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritise technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure features are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Follow the defined Connect Way of Work.
Phased Delivery
- Manage technical delivery across phased rollouts.
- Coordinate technical dependencies and delivery timelines across different phases.
- Support the delivery of new partner integrations and customer segments.
Testing & Deployment
- Ensure the adoption of automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline management.
- Support reliable and consistent software delivery and deployment.
Documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation relating to code, systems, and processes.
- Ensure documentation supports effective team collaboration, ongoing maintenance, and compliance requirements.
