About the position
Are you a Dynamic, Professional and Skilled Debtors and Creditors Clerk with a passion for numbers? Then my Client is looking for you!
Position Summary:
Responsible for the Debtors and Creditors functions while maintaining excellent client relations.
Key Performance Areas:
Debtors:
- Check all outstanding invoices and arrange telephonic and written follow-up with clients on a daily basis.
- Make payment arrangements with clients.
- Capture details of all follow up calls/ communication and commitments to pay from Customers in required format.
- Issue letters to remind clients of outstanding payment and maintain records.
- Advise CEO of all invoices not paid within 90 days and decide on escalation process.
- Review bank statement and allocate debtors payment accordingly.
- Request remittance advise from clients.
Creditors:
- Receive invoices and supplier statements via email.
- Ensure invoices match to purchases.
- Create schedule of all creditors and arrange for CEO Approval.
- General Reporting.
- Maintain record keeping.
- Accurate query resolution.
Requirements:
- Must have Relevant
- Must have 1 to 3 years Relevant Experience
- Knowledge of Credit Management Processes
- Advanced knowledge on Excel, and Pastel
- High Numeracy acumen
- Ability to read, write, and analyse numerical information
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a Team
