Job Description
 

• Match supplier delivery notes, purchase orders, and tax invoices accurately.
• Reconcile debtor customer accounts daily against incoming bank deposits and receipts.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations against the creditors sub-ledger systematically.
• Post credit notes, debit adjustments, and bank charges into the accounting system.
• Allocate customer payment remittances quickly to ensure ledger records remain up to date.
• Follow up on overdue accounts through friendly, professional phone calls and emails.

 
What You Need to Apply
 

• Matric (Grade 12) with core Mathematics or Accounting.
• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on debtors and creditors experience.
• Practical working experience using Sage Evolution, Pastel Partner, or similar accounting software.
• Solid Microsoft skills, including Excel and Word.
• Sound practical understanding of standard South African VAT rules and tax invoices.
• Accurate numerical ability paired with strong attention to everyday ledger detail.
