Debtors Clerk / Credit Controller

About the position

A well-established company on the East Rand is looking for a Debtors Clerk to join their team!
Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience working as a Credit Controller or similar position
• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (preferably advanced Excel)
• Proven experience working within the retail industry (non-negotiable)

Duties:

• Managing the collection of outstanding payments on customer accounts
• Allocating customer payments to the appropriate accounts
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Processing and issuing Credit Notes
• Conducting credit checks on new customers and opening their accounts upon receiving the necessary approvals
• Assisting with company stock counts as needed
