About the position

Our client is looking for a new and dynamic Dean, who will provide strategic, academic and operational leadership to the institution. The Dean will be responsible for driving enhancements that will build and enhance our reputation in providing a quality education at an affordable price, whilst growing levels of business profitability.


  • The Dean will work with the leadership team to further define our vision and mission and will need to take ownership for future growth and sustainability.

  • Report to into the CEO and COO, and work closely with colleagues to ensure successful delivery of all KPIs.

  • Create the academic vision for the future qualifications and programs focused on the institution’s core values and brand promise.

  • Work with the leadership team to ensure that maintenance of an exceptional student experience across all disciplines.

  • Responsible for the quality and standards of both the current and the future qualifications and programs.

  • Forging strong partnerships with industry and accreditation authorities, the Dean will need to optimise and realise opportunities for growth.

  • Champion the transformational impact that education and knowledge can have on individuals, in both B2B and B2C markets.

  • The Dean will be responsible for building and developing new sales channels within the College.

  • Planning is required to ensure the INSTI has the right blend of accredited qualifications and skills programs.

  • New qualifications and skills programs.

  • Current course reviews.


Operational


Financial



  • Scholarships or bursaries.

  • International funding

  • Bursary grants as a % of previous profits

  • Admin cost per student check.

  • Admissions – private and corporate.

  • Retention rates put through rates


  • Degree

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Dean

  • Experience and understanding of QCTO environment

  • Experience and understanding of LMS tools (Student support)

  • Experience signing up and selling courses with corporate companies (advantage)

  • B2C and B2B sales experience

  • Entrepreneurial mind set

  • Academic survey
