What you will be doing:
- Extracting insights from data through analysis, modelling, and the application of various advanced analytics tools.
- Analysing and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights and inform business decisions.
- Applying techniques such as statistics, programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern programming and analytical tools such as Python, R, Stata, Java, JavaScript, MATLAB, or machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly beneficial.
- Strong skills in data querying and storage are also required, with familiarity in SQL, NoSQL technologies like Neo4j, SPARQL, MongoDB, and platforms such as Snowflake.
