Data science and Analytics manager

About the position

As the Data Science and Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our client's data-driven strategy. Working closely with the Chief Data Officer and the Head of Data Science you will collaborate business stakeholders to ensure that all data science, reporting and analytics initiatives supports our client's person-centered health and care vision.

Key Requirements

• Academic Background: Honours, Master's, or PhD in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a combination.
• Certifications: Expertise in Python, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Spark, big data ecosystems, ML frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience: 10+ years in data science, leading large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or R, analytics/ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy), Jupyter notebooks, strong SQL skills, and experience with large datasets.
• Machine Learning: Proven application of statistical ML techniques for predictive modeling.
