Data Science & Analytics Manager

About the position

Our client is seeking a driven Data Science & Analytics Manager to join their team. The key focus of your role will be to build and lead a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Analytics professionals. By fostering a sustainable, long-term capability in Data Science and Analytics, you will establish the foundation needed to achieve our clients strategic objectives and continuously drive innovation and impact through data.

Experience Requirements:

• Degree (Honours, Masters or PHD) in quantitative fields such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and/or combination of these.
• Proven expertise in data science technologies such as Python, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, Spark, big data ecosystems, machine learning frameworks, and cloud infrastructure
• At least 10 years of hands-on involvement in data science projects, including managing large-scale initiatives and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• ACI Candidates
• Deep knowledge of Python or R and common analytics/ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy)
• track record using Jupyter notebooks
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets are essential.
• Applied Machine Learning
