About the position
Responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Analyzing data from various sources (internal and external) to inform strategic decisions.
Meetings and Presentations:
- Regularly meeting with senior management and other stakeholders to discuss strategy and progress.
Report Writing:
- Preparing and create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders, Exco Leadership,
Project Management:
- Overseeing the implementation of strategic projects and ensuring they stay on track as per roadmaps, agreed prioritization and milestones
- Identify strategic opportunities through market analytics, data and research, co-ordinate strategic initiatives and support to reviewing targets and milestones set.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross functional teams to align data strategies
Qualifications & Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Statistical Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science. MBA is a bonus.
Number of years’ experience required
- 8 – 10 years
- Management experience is preferred (2 years plus)

- Proficient in Data Analytics and Strategy Analysis,
- Strong Communication skills i.e. verbal and written
- Skilled at integrated reporting, business planning and creating dashboards that provide insights. Skilled at collaborating with Senior leadership
- Business development experience- seek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems
- Good understanding of Strategic Planning and Execution
- Demonstrate ability and experience to develop and implement data-driven strategies to support organizational goals and initiatives
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop actionable solutions from data analysis that inform a solid strategy
Exposure/Experience
- Innovative in thinking, Strategic influence
- Demonstrate ability, exposure and experience to develop and implement data-driven strategies to support organizational goals and initiatives
- Preferable to have worked in banking or financial industry – but not a must
- Familiarity with Machine Learning or AI-driven analytics tools.
- Experience in Financial services, Business Management, Operations function.
- Any tech certification is advantageous but not necessary
- Soft skills required.
Technology Environment Requirements
- Knowledgeable on Advanced Technology and Analytics such as ML, AI, Generative AI and Automation. Ability to keep up with the developing trends in technology (Tech savvy)
Technical Knowledge Requirements
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between data and market analysis and actionable business insights that inform a strategy.
