About the Opportunity
Our client in the motoring industry is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data Analyst (Cloud Focus) to join a high-impact team supporting cloud operations at a global level. This is a rare opportunity to work in a cloud-first environment, supporting cutting-edge infrastructure on both AWS and Azure, while driving value through actionable insights, data visualization, and advanced monitoring solutions.
You’ll be part of a Cloud Control Center responsible for ensuring the health, performance, and visibility of the client's public cloud environments. RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-driven solutions for monitoring, dashboarding, and alerting within AWS and Azure environments.
- Deliver clear, visual, and dynamic reporting solutions using tools such as AWS QuickSight.
- Build and maintain dashboards, health monitors, and alerts to support global stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain data flows and ETL pipelines to enable seamless reporting and analytics.
- Support and evolve existing solutions within a DevOps model, aligned to Agile (Scrum) practices.
- Engage in proactive knowledge sharing and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
- Contribute to incident, change, and problem management processes within the cloud space.
- Provide occasional 24/7 standby support for cloud-related incidents (rotational basis).
- Travel internationally up to 2 weeks at a time, when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in BI, data visualization, and database systems.
- Strong skills in data analysis, report development, and ETL workflows.
- Proficiency in AWS or Azure (minimum 2 years).
- Hands-on with Python scripting and automation of tasks.
- Experience designing dashboards and alerting mechanisms.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and UX design for reports.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, container technologies (Docker), and serverless (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Exposure to streaming platforms like Kafka or MQTT.
- Experience with tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Understanding of AI applications and modern cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in working with JSON, YAML, and other common data formats.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal ability, and stakeholder engagement.
- A self-starter with the ability to coach peers and contribute beyond your job scope.
