About the position

DBN000228 - Dairy Farm Manager - Mooi Rivier KZN

Purpose of the job:
The Dairy Manager will be responsible for all management aspects of 1500 cows in milk, on a pasture-based system.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Staff control and organisation
  • Morning and afternoon milking management
  • Overseeing calving cows
  • Pasture measuring
  • Artificial insemination
  • Day to day veterinary treatments
  • Maintenance of electric fencing
  • Water for dairy cows
