About the position
My client based in Cape Town and Johannesburg is currently looking for a D365 CRM consultant to join their team on a contract basis.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Required: MB-230 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant certification
- Advantageous: MB-280 - Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Analyst Associate
- 4-6 years' experience in Dynamics 365 CRM consulting and implementation
- Proven experience designing, configuring, and supporting Customer Service, Field Service, Sales, and Marketing modules
- Exposure to Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with other systems via Azure Logic Apps, KingswaySoft, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or ITIL methodologies
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation: Analyse business requirements, design and configure Dynamics 365 modules (Customer Service, Field Service, Sales, and Marketing), and ensure solutions align with IT best practices.
- Client Engagement: Conduct workshops, provide CRM advisory support, and act as a trusted advisor throughout project lifecycles.
- Project Delivery: Participate in all project phases-planning, design, testing, and deployment-while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft standards.
- Training & Support: Develop training materials, conduct user sessions, and provide post-implementation support.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Dynamics 365 developments, identify enhancements, and mentor junior team members.
Competency
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Customer Service, Field Service, Sales, Marketing)
- Experience with Power Platform tools and Dataverse
- Working knowledge of Co-Pilot, Azure Logic Apps, and custom connectors
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, C#, AI tools, Plugins, Customer Insights, and Customer Voice
- Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking tools (advantageous)
- Excellent business analysis and requirements gathering ability
- Skilled at translating business needs into practical CRM solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client communication skills. Analytical, innovative, and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability
