Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Implement and maintain security controls across networks, systems, and cloud environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Manage security tools and technologies, including SIEM and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across all projects.
Experience, Skills & Ideal Candidate
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience working with security monitoring, incident response, and risk management processes.
- Exposure to cloud security environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
- Understanding of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and penetration testing principles.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, SC-200, or similar would be advantageous.
