Cybersecurity Engineer

About the position

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and monitor security measures across IT systems, networks, and applications.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Respond to and mitigate security breaches, incidents, and malware attacks.
• Monitor security tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM platforms.
• Develop, enforce, and update security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture and configurations.
• Provide end-user security awareness and training where necessary.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
? Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a cybersecurity engineering or similar role.
? Strong knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
? Hands-on experience with network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
? Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) will be an advantage.
? Relevant certifications (Network+ (N+) & Security+ (S+) ) highly desirable.
? Solid understanding of Cybersecurity Compliance
