About the position
Global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Territory Manager for the Western Cape region. Oncology experience is essential.
Matric and medical or sales qualification is required
Minimum of 5 - 6 years oncology sales experience is essential
The Customer territory manager is required to ensure sales revenue targets are achieved, increase sales and profits where the potential exists and build lasting and solid relations with all Oncology stakeholders & clients
Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set out by the company.
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly planning – which client will be seen on which day based on OncoDataRx.
100% territory coverage - visiting existing clients – Oncologists, authorisation personnel, Oncology pharmacists, Nurses in order to introduce and sell the company products.
Highlight USP’s (unique selling points) of products to customers - presenting product information, highlighting its features, benefits, providing information on scientific data or any new developments related to the products.
Analysing sales data and provide reports on sales, call activity, programs, and budget achievement, etc. as required
Resolving customer queries related to the company, the products, product usage, product price, regulations, and availability.
Market insights - liaising with other Oncology personnel, i.e., pharmaceutical representatives, brand managers, etc. through medical, healthcare conferences and symposiums in order to detect early changes in market dynamics.
Staying up to date - with medical and scientific developments, new or potential products in the market (competitor and other brands), pharmacy regulations, developing trends in the market, as well as any related procedures, policies, and regulations.
Cross-functional collaboration – cooperation and coordination with the rest of the divisions, i.e., Sales, Medical, Marketing, Key Accounts, Business Intelligence, Finance, Supply Chain and HR.
Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
