About the position
Our client provides end-to-end cryptocurrency tax reporting services to clients across multiple international jurisdictions. The business specialises in importing, reconciling, validating, and analysing cryptocurrency transaction data using Koinly software, blockchain explorers, and other specialist digital asset tools.
Focus areas: Client-facing – Onboarding & Client Care
This is the welcoming face of the company You guide new clients through getting started with us, collecting the wallets, exchange data and transaction history our analysts need, and making sure every client feels looked after from day one. It is organised, people-first work for someone who enjoys keeping things moving and clients reassured.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Be the first point of contact for new clients: welcome them and guide them through everything we need to get started.
· Walk clients through providing their data: connecting exchange accounts, sharing wallet addresses and uploading their transaction history.
· Collect, organise and sense-check client information so the analysts have a complete, clean starting point.
· Explain clearly and patiently what is required, and follow up promptly and precisely on anything outstanding.
· Keep clients informed and reassured, setting clear expectations from the very first interaction.
· Coordinate with the reconciliation team to hand each new client over smoothly.
· Track the status of every new client and proactively chase anything that is waiting or overdue.
· Uphold the company’s voice at all times: calm, professional, accurate and done-for-you, never dismissive and never over-promising.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· Completed Matric and relevant Tertiary Qualification
· Excellent written English; you can explain a technical point simply and warmly.
· Proven customer-support or client-facing experience.
· Highly organised and proactive; you follow up without being asked and keep many threads moving at once.
· Patience and empathy when dealing with clients who are stressed about tax.
· Willingness to learn the basics of crypto and crypto tax so you can speak to clients with confidence.
NICE TO HAVE
· Experience in a fintech, accounting, tax or SaaS support environment.
· Familiarity with help-desk or CRM tools and structured client communication.
· Any exposure to crypto, tax or financial services.
